I visited Indonesia for the first time in September 2015 with my first visitors meeting me on my RTW trip in Denpasar - my sister and brother-in-law. We splashed out and stayed at some nice resorts, amazing for me as I'd gotten used to dorm beds and hostels.

We first explored Kuta Beach in Bali, then booked flights for forty dollars the morning we flew to Gili Air. It was there we snorkeled, hiked waterfalls in Lombok and lounged at the beach. Then we headed to Ubud and did some biking, trekking in rice paddies and ate some amazing food, taking in the sights, smells and Balinese culture.
