about these photos:
I visited TAS most recently (June - July 2016) and it's where I officially ended my trip. In a rented camper van for just over two weeks I was afforded the freedom to explore at my leisure, and I can guarantee you that there isn't a straight road in the entire state!
Highlights in TAS were of course the scenery. Cradle Mountain offered a challenging snow covered peak to summit and loads of friendly wombats while Freycinet National Park delivered with views of Wineglass Bay. And even though it was winter the beaches still impressed with fantastic views out to sea. Port Arthur was picturesque as well, located on the water and loaded with history.
A trip to the top of Mt. Wellington towering over Hobart found me taking photo after photo as I was lucky enough to visit on a clear day, and no visit to the capital is complete without experiencing MONA, the Museum of Old and New Art.
