about these photos:
VIC was the penultimate place I visited on my global adventure in July 2016. Melbourne had such an international feel - I ate fantastic food from many different corners of the globe, enjoyed superb art museums and galleries, and soaked up the atmosphere at Federation Square. On the streets as trams passed me by on any given city block I heard so many different languages spoken - coming from visitors and residents alike. From the Yarra River winding its way through the city to the Shrine of Remembrance to the Southbank Promenade, Melbourne impressed.
And with just a little effort, right outside the city I was able to visit some world class wineries, Luna Park in St. Kilda and the world famous Brighton bathing boxes. Now I just need to get back here in the summer to experience the beaches and the Australian Open!
